1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JamiiGrow, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users, including group administrators, members, and representatives.

2. Service Description

JamiiGrow provides a cloud-based platform for managing community groups, welfare societies, member registration, contributions, loans, financial tracking, M-Pesa integrations, support requests, meetings, elections, and project management.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Each account is for individual use only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Group Administrator Responsibilities

Group administrators agree to accurately represent their group, comply with all applicable laws, maintain accurate financial and membership records, protect member data, use the platform only for legitimate welfare purposes, and pay subscription fees on time.

5. Subscription and Payment

Groups must subscribe to an active package to use the Platform. Subscription fees are displayed on our pricing page. All fees are in Kenyan Shillings (KES). Payment is due upon subscription renewal. Late payments may result in service suspension.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use JamiiGrow only for managing legitimate welfare societies and community groups. You must NOT use the Platform for illegal activities, fraud, pyramid schemes, money laundering, harassment, or any activities that violate applicable laws.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of JamiiGrow is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. You use the Platform at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the Arbitration Act of Kenya or the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nairobi, Kenya.

We collect personal information (name, email, phone, ID number), financial information (M-Pesa transactions, contributions), group-related information (membership details, meeting attendance), and technical information (IP address, browser data).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and manage group membership services, process contributions and payments, facilitate M-Pesa transactions, send notifications about group activities, generate reports and membership cards, comply with legal requirements (KRA, Registrar of Societies), and prevent fraud.

3. Information Sharing

Your information is shared within your group with administrators and members as necessary. We share information with service providers (Safaricom M-Pesa, SMS providers, cloud hosting). We may disclose information when required by law or to comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Security

We implement encryption of sensitive data (passwords, M-Pesa credentials), secure HTTPS connections, regular security audits, access controls and authentication, and data backup procedures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active, needed to provide services, required by law (tax records, audit trails), or necessary to resolve disputes. Group financial records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with Kenyan tax law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access (request a copy of your personal information), correction (update or correct inaccurate information), deletion (request deletion of your account subject to legal requirements), objection (object to certain data processing), and data portability (request your data in a portable format).

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, analyze platform usage, and improve functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

JamiiGrow is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Dependant information is collected only for legitimate welfare and insurance purposes.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information is primarily stored and processed in Kenya. If transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.
